- Uses MMU (HW paging) for direct access to memory without tables and translations.
- Draws SNES tiles as PVR textures.
- CPUs assembler improvements.
- Supports SDD1 and SA1 chips.
I had to change it a lot for running it with MMU and PVR, It has been a very hard work and needs more work for patching MMU problems (use 'snes4all_secure.bin' binary for disabling MMU for games like StarOcean) and drawing all transparency cases with PVR.
Also I would like get a better sound and use ARM Dreamcast CPU for rendering sound.
Anyway, this Beta-2 version runs almost the entire SNES games with a good speed and a lot of games at full speed with sound and transparency.

PSX4ALL is the old Playstation project for Dreamcast and GP2X. It was abandoned for create a project PCSX4ALL named for WIZ/CAANOO and Dreamcast at near future (I hope will release it in 2012).
ResponderEliminarChui NEOGEO_AES the time to convert the rom NeoGeo and MAME
ResponderEliminarmany are not covert, have a better way to do the conversion with more compatibility.
I am looking at various sites to find the rom compatible with the converter. Thus even the process of conversion prior.
How do I get the rom SVCAOS COMPATIBLE WITH THE CONVERTER AND PRETCH.
Search for 'gngeo ROMS' and test it your ROMSs with GnGeo emulator before convert it. Next, convert it and try with NEO4ALL for Windows or GNU/Linux.
ResponderEliminarYou mean I have to use roms emulators which is compatible PC gngeo such as a ROM NeoRAGEx WITH THEM IN THE USA AND CONVERSION is that?
ResponderEliminarYes, AES4ALL uses GnGeo romset, so you must convert only the roms that works with GnGeo.
ResponderEliminarI don't know NeoRAGEx, but there are a lot of tools for converting ROMs. Really it is renaming filemanes (inside zip) in most cases. I have adapted some rom using romrc (roms descriptor in convert tool) as guide.
Thank you Chui!

Chui. I DLed the SNES4ALL beta 2 files from your site, and they were 2 .BIN files. I have found no help on how to burn these to a self booting, playable CDI for use on the Dreamcast. Do you have any info on how to play these files on your DC?
ResponderEliminarI use Echelon Selfboot old tool but many people uses Selfboot Inducer.
EliminarThere are a lot of info at a dreamcast scene forums like http://dcemulation.org or http://www.dreamcast-scene.com
Chui, what's you plans for dc emulators? What will be updated next? GBA would be nice too.
ResponderEliminarNow I am working on GENS4ALL (will be release during RetroMadrid 2012 party) and I hope can to work on PCSX4ALL and SNES4ALL this year. But I don't prefer open new projects.
EliminarCan't wait to see the new version of GENS4ALL, it's already the best genesis emulator, the RetroMadrid is over now, have you already released it?
